Just a quick update to say that I’m heavily into the numbers at the moment.

• the countdown days
• the daily wordcount
• hitting my session targets
• watching my deadine loom closer
• setting my alarm clock for each mornings writing
• book 1, 2, & 3 planned out

All this is compelling me to crack on and shut up with the banter. I’ve been falling off the writing rails for some time now, and it’s doing my head in. I’ve even thought about giving up my writing group meetings, just so I can realign my priorities.

I’m a writer: I should be writing 90% of my available free time, not pretending to be a writer.

I’ll keep it going, promise.

Also, I  bought a domain: http://skatefiction.com, and the initial site design is complete (see above image). I just need to drop my content in and I’ll release it to the world (the ‘world’ equals no-one, btw).
